A few pics and thoughts from the Chicago Fire’s jersey launch at the Quaker office. In-person, the jerseys looked good overall. A few thoughts:

Away jerseys look sharp on the players both at a distance and the detail (see here for an explanation) with the various civic elements works well.
No problem with navy as the change color for the Fire. The Revs do not own that colour, it is a key element of the Fire badge.
Unlike some, like the collar on the home jersey. Adds a classy element and differentiates from the change shirt’s v-neck.
The Quaker guy and wordmark are integrated well into the stripe
….but, still not digging the navy stripe particularly. It’s not a disaster, far from it - yet it could have worked better as a solid stripe, or perhaps white with a navy band. That would have been a subtle but strong compliment to the navy change kit.
Finally, Quaker seem like a committed sponsor, and their president is obviously truly passionate about the game - spoke at length about his experiences in Argentina, including how fans saved a club. Should be a very good partnership for the Fire, local company with national reach and massive resources.
