Brighton and Hove Albion’s new American Express Community Stadium is already being expanded after its first season in nearby Falmer. The club is adding a new tier of 3,213 seats to the East Stand (rendering, bottom picture), providing the amazing view (top picture) of the rest of the stadium and the ginormous West Stand. The total stadium expansion project will yield a capacity of 30,750 for a club who spent 14 years essentially homeless following the demolition of the Goldstone Ground in 1997 and the opening of the Amex in late 2011.
